Description

Bit-Depth is an arcade style shooter developed by Mikey Bess for the SGDA Arcade Jam. You play as a raccoon whose main goal is to shoot all of his enemies and get the highest score possible while upgrading his revolver along the way.

Controls

  • W A S D - Movement
  • Mouse - Aim
  • Left Mouse - Shoot and Menu Interaction
  • Enter/Start - Begin the game
  • Z (During title screen) - Wipe high scores

14 Weapon upgrades (Choice between two options every 10 waves)

3 Enemy types with 3 variants each

Combo system that multiplies score and affects the bit-depth and shaders of the game

High score system (Does NOT work in web build, when you die press enter to go back to the title screen)

How long are the waves?  I was never able to upgrade my gun, and I lasted for about four minutes on this last run.

Waves move on once you've killed all the enemies in the previous wave. You get an upgrade every 10 waves. (Only 3 upgrade tiers right now)
